Don’t come out of your chrysalis to soon! Do you know that if a butterfly emerges from its chrysalis to soon, it may not have developed enough to survive? The struggle that the butterfly must go through to come out of the chrysalis helps it build strength in its wings and other muscles it needs to fly and survive. Also, if a butterfly is helped out of its chrysalis, it may have weak wings and therefore it cannot fly.
Sometimes in life you may feel like a butterfly alone and in a dark place and like the butterfly God may be preparing you for something He wants you to do or someone He wants you to become. Sometimes God has to move every distraction out of your life and keep you protected in your lonely chrysalis so that He can change you from a caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly 2 Cor 5:17. Trust Him through the process and don’t try and move before Him, the struggles that you go through are to strengthen you and build up your character 2 Tim 2:3.
A few days before a butterfly emerges from its chrysalis the chrysalis becomes very dark, sometimes in life when you are at your lowest and you want to give up and emerge before your time that’s when the breakthrough comes. So don’t give up be patient like the butterfly. After every storm there is a calm, don’t give up in the storm but look up to the One who controls the storm. Gods timing is perfect and when we wait on Him, we will emerge from our chrysalis as beautiful butterflies (sons and daughters of the King) ready to fulfil the purpose that He created us for. Like the butterfly that goes around pollinating plants we will go around sharing our testimonies and inspiring others to patiently wait for the fulfilment of Gods timing in their lives.
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
